The Black Duck Corporation is owned and operated by J. Michael Chapin. Mr. Chapin has over 28 years combined experience in the Criminal Justice field as a Law Enforcement Officer, Training Director, Chief of Police, Investigator and Criminal Justice Instructor. With a degree in Psychology and a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Session 168, Mr. Chapin has built a team of qualified law enforcement and military staff at Black Duck Corporation to meet the needs of the private sector, government agencies and the corporate field. The Black Duck Corporation training division is oriented to law enforcement, private security and the public sector. Our qualified staff provides agency mandated and custom tailored courses. Please visit our training section to determine your needs or contact us for a specialty designed course. Black Duck Corporation has formed a partnership with Craven Community College to better serve the training needs of Law Enforcement by providing tuition free courses for those North Carolina Agencies under budgetary constraints. Out of state Agencies are required to pay a small registration fee; in compliance with community college regulations. Additionally, participating students will receive continuing education credit hours through the Craven Community College Continuing Education Division.
